Article Abstract:
Copenhagen, Denmark-based, ScanBalt BioRegion, which is a network of networks that includes regional biotechnology clusters across Scandinavia, northern Germany and the Baltic region, is in the process of developing a coordinated approach towards the creation and management of intellectual property (IP) related to life science research. This approach overcomes national differences but its success will depend on the local issues like the lack of financial support for capturing IP in certain areas.
