Security: getting tough in tough times
Article Abstract:
Trade show exhibitors have to ensure the safety of their product display and should make security costs a priority in their exhibit budget. Exhibitors not only have to manage crowds, but also have to guard against theft, industrial espionage and, in some cases, against demonstrations. Choosing the right security firm is important and exhibitors should not only get recommendations from reliable sources, but evaluate and investigate the security firms as well. Security personnel should be informed about exhibition matters and what they are looking out for. Supervision of security personnel during the show is also necessary.

How to improve presentations
Article Abstract:
An effective business presentation is a result of the planning made before showing it to a prospective client. The first step that has to be done is to find out more about the client's company such as its products and personnel. Then, a decision has to be made on why the presentation is being produced. Sales personnel should realize beforehand whether they would use the presentation to inform or sell. If it is to inform, the presentation should contain background information and history on the sales personnel's company. If it is to sell, the presentation should assume the buyer's viewpoint.
