The efficient design extends to Bloomberg's offices. A common portal where all employees pass through, and fish tanks for relaxing workers' eyes, are some of the innovations by Bloomberg.

Tax-free profit-related pay is being ablished by the United Kingdom government and employers could replace it with stock option schemes. Companies may offer save-as-you-earn schemes which are good value for employees. They pay in a set sum monthly and can save for three or five years. Employees can buy stocks or take cash when the schemes mature. Stocks can also be bought from profits by companies which distribute them to their employees.
