Selling with Your Voice: Tactics for Selecting an Effective Telemarketing Training Approach
Article Abstract:
Training of employees is essential for an effective telemarketing program. Even outside sales people need assistance for telemarketing. The supervisor should be responsible for employee training. Time, however, is an issue when the supervisor is responsible for training. If the number to be trained is small, self-instructional materials are ideal. Larger numbers might require a seminar or formal classroom training program. Components for a self-instructional training program are listed and described: Training manual, audio cassettes, study guide, and trainers guide. A list of suggested training topics or objectives is given. An ideal training program should vary the activities, use the supervisor to best advantage and insure adequate opportunity for practice.

Examining Your Telemarketing Equipment Needs
Article Abstract:
The modern business user must determine the type, quantity and mode of telephone communications required for the company's marketing program. Until the telephone industry and modern business user come together and standardize telephone systems, the user must, through trial and error and self-reliance, arrive at the best solutions for solving telecommunication needs.
