Shaking up the p-card status quo
Article Abstract:
The purchasing card could theoretically enable firms to streamline their operations and expenditures. However, most purchasing card services offered by banks other financial institutions are restricted by a lack of compatibility with the accounting systems of customer firms. The problem can be alleviated by implementing measures which balances the needs for efficient transaction booking, automation, and preserves the firm's accounting system integrity.
