Sikorsky stresses 'new' in CSAR helo bid
Article Abstract:
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is competing for the US Air Force contract to provide a new combat search and rescue (CSAR) aircraft and it is offering a new helicopter that would be cheaper to fly and easier to update than the competitors' craft. Sikorsky is using the helicopter HH-92 as the basis for its bid to be the supplier for the Air Force replacement program called as CSAR-X, that would serve the primary mission of rescuing downed pilots from battle zones and other dangerous places abound the world.

Sikorsky to tout X2 copter at Paris show
Article Abstract:
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. will use the 46th International Paris Air Show to focus on a new platform rather than go over familiar ground by highlighting its 'X-2 Technology demonstrator helicopter' that is able to cruise at 287 miles an hour. The air show will include 1800 exhibits and some 200 aircraft will be on display while 550 firms will represent France, double the figure of the American delegation.

Northrop Grumman Copter UAV shows special-ops potential
