Article Abstract:
A recession is initiated by the immediate and unexpected emergence of economic conditions which, after some months, force most consumers and businesses to limit and become aware of their expenses, thus resulting to a decrease in the aggregate demand. Recession in Canada is expected in 1998 and 1999. A North American phenomenon predicts that the next recession will come from the US.
