The use of supply chain management (SCM) is deemed to grow in the near future. According to a survey, US companies in 1993 have allotted more than $670 bil on SCM which covers the monitoring the flow of products, services and related information across a network connecting suppliers to manufacturers to distribution centers to warehouses to retailer and to consumers. The SCM is expected to increase value for the consumer, decrease expenses of the organization and improve the process.

Accountants as evangelists?
Article Abstract:
Wayne Harding, a Colorado certified public accountant and vice-president of marketing of Great Plains Software, has been termed as the evangelist of the company. Harding claimed the title for himself to convey the nature of his job although his objectives are strictly commercial. Although the title may not fit most people of his position, Harding carries it off very well due to his ability in reaching out to people and making them understand.
