Strategy planning is an important concept for business success. Strategies formulated by understanding- key buying criteria of the consumers, predictive marketing intelligence, creation of opaqueness about the company's success factors and establishment of inertia among the consumers (unwillingness to switch brands), are critically examined. Marketing research based on these issues can increase its business value.
