The New March to Find Financial Independence
Article Abstract:
Nowadays, many people are very concerned with achieving financial independence. After living through high unemployment, high interest rates and high inflation, people in their twenties and thirties are working on financial plans which will have them independent by the time they reach their fifties. Although some people are born rich, some marry wealth and some win the lottery, most of us have to work and plan for our financial independence. Many people who reach the financial state where they could afford to retire don't; they enjoy what they are doing and they do not enjoy doing nothing. The government, banks and even the company you work for can all help with your plan to save and accumulate wealth by offering various savings programs and programs which offer tax benefits. But whatever you are planning to do about your financial future, the sooner you get started, the easier and faster it will be.

Starting Out with a Start-Up
Article Abstract:
New companies starting out may not be able to offer much in the way of salary, but they can entice prospective employees with stock. Then, if the start-up company takes off, those early employees can become millionaires. To work for a start-up company you must be willing to work hard and take chances. To find a start-up company there are many sources, including newspaper ads and business magazines. Before joining a start-up venture, there are several questions which must be answered: How will you work with the entrepreneur? Is the product or service marketable? Stock incentives are designed to attract and keep good people, and while they may turn out to be worth a fortune, they could also turn out to be worthless. Several examples of people who took a chance with a start-up operation and won are included.
