The effect of clustering on costs and sampling errors of random samples
Article Abstract:
The research paper on effects of clustering has been successfully utilized by market researchers. In the paper, various degrees of clustering were applied to random samples to determine the impact of said processes on costs and sampling errors. The paper supported studies made by Kish and Cochran regarding the impact of reductions in sample size on survey accuracy. As a result, Omnibus surveys are now using approximately 200 sampling points compared to the previous 100.
