The times they are a changing
Article Abstract:
Stockbroking in North West England has been affected by a number of trends such as new technology, and a softening of the division between different activities in financial services. The private client market has tended to polarise, with execution-only brokers at one end, and investment managers at the other. Investment managers focus on clients seeking higher service levels and longer temr views. Brokers in the region have also been affected by consolidation.
