The timing of option repricing
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted on a sample of executive stock repricing events, to examine whether these events are systematically timed with company's stock prices. The study reveals that in most of the cases the information regarding the stock option repricing is not disclosed to the public, which adversely impacts the forecast of earnings.
