Time Magazine cover on evil
Article Abstract:
Time Magazine's cover design for its issue on evil won a gold award in the graphics category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The dichromatic design was notablee for being a remarkable departure from the magazine's norm. Taking advantage of the limited possibilities of Time's typographic formula and avoiding the hideous formulas suggested by the topic of evil, the designers have succeeded in making a powerful statement with the simplest of design schemes.
