Timex displays new i-control digital watches

Timex Corp is using a countertop display to market its new Timex i-Control Setting Systems. The display carries 40 watches and features illustrations on how to use the setting systems. The watches combine a desirable mix of analog and digital technology to provide users with the advantages of multi-functional watches that are as easy to set as analog timepieces. Watches with i-Control use rings and crowns more commonly found in analog styles to make operations simpler and faster.

JCPenney tests electronic displays in Sports Dept

JC Penney has opted to test Immedia's changeable electronic displays in its 'Simply for Sports' department as part of a program to replace existing in-store signage. The Immedia displays would overcome the limitations of paper and enable JC Penney to address changing market conditions. Immedia's displays, which were developed by Cambridge, MA- based E Ink Corp, are enabling JCPenney to wirelessly broadcast messages to stores from its headquarters in a matter of minutes.

Target displays proprietary cosmetics line

Target Stores Inc has launched a proprietary cosmetics line via an end- aisle display that was created by Sonia Kashuk, a celebrity makeup artist. According to Target Fixture Designer Mary Hammond, the fixture design is aimed at simplifying consumer choices and depicting an upscale, clean and modern look.
