Title wave
Article Abstract:
The history of film title design has been characterized by periods of innovation followed by periods in which little real progress has been made. A new era in film title design has emerged recently, mainly as a result of the development of accessible computing power. Within this trend, design Kyle Cooper's opening sequence to the 1995 serial-killer thriller 'Seven' has been especially influential. Design school students are particularly focusing on type in motion. The emergence of interactive media means that ordinary people are becoming increasingly comfortable with the idea of graphic design in title sequences.
