Service quality and blood donors - a marketing perspective
Article Abstract:
Research into attitudes to blood donation revealed significant unfamiliarity with uses of donated blood; the donation itself; and the need for blood and common blood groups in particular. The National Blood Service currently collects approximately 2.4 million pints of blood in England from only 6% of the population eligible to donate. The Service is targeting 18-30 year olds in its latest recruitment drive.
