Watsco, Inc
Article Abstract:
Watsco Inc Pres and CEO Albert Nahmad is satisfied with stock-analyst forecasts of a stock rate jump from 79 cents in Mar 1991 to 90 cents in the fiscal quarter ending Mar 1992. Watsco, which recorded a 10% rise in its 1992 sales, expects to further increase profits as a result of two legislations: one requiring the upgrading of air conditioners and the other prohibiting refrigeration machinery venting into the environment. The air conditioner distributing firm currently pays a dividend of 5% on its dual-class common stock.

California Microwave, Inc
Article Abstract:
California Microwave Inc (CMIC) attributes its reduced stock earnings for FY 1992 to decrease in sales of its earth satellite equipment and its ample reserves additions. Nevertheless, CMIC Pres Phillip F. Otto remains optimistic that sales for the fiscal year may reach beyond its $200 million mark. Otto says CMIC plans to focus more on strengthening its wireless communications capabilities.
