Women's networks a success
Article Abstract:
Women's networking groups are becoming more effective as marketing implements in promoting businesspeople and their companies. This is exemplified in the top five chartered accounting firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, whose Women's Initiative Network is currently the biggest group in its category. Networking groups offer professional development to its members. Ronnie Gavsie of KPMG Consulting believes that a key factor in the success of these marketing associations is mentoring to propel their members' profile as women and as professionals.
