Article Abstract:
Neural networks have been studied for almost 50 years and are a type of artifical intelligence. They can be used by non-specialists as is demonstrated by Market Technologies. Neural networks are especially suited to identifying relationships from a very large amount of data. They are also computationally intensive which means that a powerful computer is needed for products such as Market Technologies' VantagePoint, or it runs significantly more slowly.
