A SANS contrast variation study of microemulsion droplet growth
Article Abstract:
Contrast variation on the growth of nonionic microemulsion droplets is used as the temperature for the small angle neutron scattering (SANS) study and thus the spontaneous curvature is varied away from the emulsification failure boundary (EFB) to the zero spontaneous curvature. The analysis reveals that the prolate axial ratio increases with an increase in the temperature but does not change much with the droplet concentration.

Small-angle neutron scattering studies on the mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41
Article Abstract:
Small-angle neutron scattering measurements were used to examine the pure silica MCM-41 preparation with high crystalline order in both calcined and template-containing forms. Results indicated that the MCM-41 has a smooth-walled structure. However, either or both of the channel walls moves relative to the hexagonal lattice, indicating that the internal structure of the MCM-41 is a hexagonal array of channels.

High-internal phase water-in-oil emulsions studied by small-angle neutron scattering
Article Abstract:
A preliminary examination of three isotopically substituted series of concentrated emulsions is presented by small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). It is found that the SANS can be modeled by the sum of scattering from the aqueous droplet/oil interface and scattering from an oil-phase microemulsion of quite polydisperse reverse spherical micelles.
