A facile method of producing femtoliter metal cups by pulsed laser ablation
Article Abstract:
Femtocup structures of various metals, Ag, Au, Cu, Sn, Cd, Zn, Nb, In, Al, on flat substrates are established by employing pulsed laser ablation through a simple and straightforward method. The potential applications are envisaged as femtoliter metal containers.

High catalytic activity for CO oxidation of gold nanoparticles confined in acidic support AI-SBA-15 at low temperatures
Article Abstract:
The study of CO oxidation catalyzed by Au supported on acidic mesoporous silicates is reported. It is found that a high-temperature reduction of the catalyst is crucial for good activity in the catalysis of CO oxidation.
