Acidic property of y- and mordenite-type zeolites with high aluminum concentration under dry conditions
Article Abstract:
The relationship between the acidic property and the composition of a zeolite was measured using y- and mordenite-type samples with high aluminum contents. It was found that the isomorphously substituted aluminum in zeolite generates the acid state according to the stoichiometry even when the aluminum atoms locate the secondary-neighboring sites.

Identification and measurements of strong Bronsted acid site in ultrastable Y (USY) zeolite
Article Abstract:
Acid sites of USY(ultrastable Y) zeolite was studied by using the IRMS-TPD method in which IR (infrared) and MS (mass spectroscopy) worked together. A fresh strong Bronsted acid site was identified in the EDTA-treated USY and the amount and the strength was measured quantatively.

Ultra-fine tuning of microporous opening size of zeolite by CVD
Article Abstract:
Transmission electrons microscopy (TEM) studied the porous structure of a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) layer on a silicalite zeolite. The adsorption results show that when the amount of CVD silica increases the size of the opening mouth is decreased.
