Adsorption and surface reactions of N(C2H5)3 on powdered TiO2
Article Abstract:
A study investigates the surface intermediates during photodegradation of adsorbed N(C2H5)3 on TiO2 in (super 16)O2 or (super 18)O2 by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). It examines the photoreaction products and intermediates, based on the characteristic functional absorptions and oxygen isotopic shifts, revealing versatile photoreaction pathways of N(C2H5)3 on TiO2.

Article Abstract:
The investigation of the heterogeneities in stoichiometric powders by a combination of averaging and local techniques, X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectrometry for an average analysis of powders, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy for an analysis of the surface of the grains, are presented. Fe-segregation is found inside stoichimetric particles when the powders are studied.
