Aggregation effects on the Raman spectroscopy of dielectrophoretically deposited single-walled carbon nanotubes
Article Abstract:
The effect of aggregation on surfactant-suspended individual single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) Raman spectroscopy was explored in the context of dielectrophoretic separation. Aggregation plays an important role in the apparent metallic to semiconductor SWNT ratios and can compromise conclusions based on Raman alone and must be combined with additional analytical method such as electrical characterization, chemical reactivity and absorption spectroscopy to qualify the efficacy of SWNT separation.

Temperature dependence of the Raman spectra of individual carbon nanotubes
Article Abstract:
The presence of a temperature dependant density of Resonant Raman Scattering (RRS) spectra of individual carbon nanotubes roved by the intensity abnormality of radial breathing mode (RBM). The results suggest that the temperature coefficients of RBM of carbon nanotubes are smaller than their 'real' ones for the bulk samples of single-or double-walled tubes.
