Bending contours in silver nanoprisms
Article Abstract:
A detailed microscopic analysis of structure of silver nanoprisms synthesized by controlled photoinduced aggregation of Ag nanoparticles was carried out. Analysis revealed that silver nanoparticles were single crystals and showed two and three-dimensional bending contours with transmission electron microscopy images revealing bending of the nanoprism (111) face in the presence of fringes.

Third-order nonlinear optical properties of C60 CT complexes with aromatic amines
Article Abstract:
Third-order nonlinear optical properties of charge-transfer (CT) complexes of C60 are investigated with various aromatic amines with different ionization potentials. The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility /chi(super 13)/ measured by degenerate four-wave mixing shows a resonant enhancement at the absorption band due to the CT transition.

Article Abstract:
Linear and optical properties of silver nanaprisms is studied with the help of femtosecond pump and probe spectroscopy. Enhancements of local electric fields due to dipole and quadrupole surface plasmons are focused upon.
