Determination of conformational preferences of dipeptides using vibrational spectroscopy
Article Abstract:
The conformational preferences of 13 dipeptides are studied by using infrared and Raman spectroscopy. The results have shown that alanine dipeptide has adopted a [P.sub.II] conformation and the population of the [beta] conformation has increased in valine dipeptides.
