Combined experimental and theoretical study to understand the photoluminescence of Sr(sub 1-x)TiO(sub 3-x)
Article Abstract:
A combined experimental and theoretical study was conducted to rationalize the results of visible photoluminescence measurements at room temperature on Sr(sub 1-x)TiO(sub 3-x) (ST) perovckite thin films. The synthetic and experimental methods reported could be applied to a variety of other perovskite material systems to address a range of open scientific and technological challenges.

Pore structure of modified cyclic silsesquioxane thin films made porous using a cyclodextrins-based porogen
Article Abstract:
Using ellipsometric porosimetry(EP) and positronium annihilation lifetime spectroscopy(PALS) as a 'round-robin' experiment, the pore structure of porous modified cyclic silsesquioxane (MCSSQ) thin films with different porogen concentration were investigated. A plausible pore structure and its evolution as a function of porogen concentration could be deduced.
