Molecular characterization of hexaoctyloxy-rufigallol in the solid and columnar phases: a local field NMR study
Article Abstract:
An investigation is made on the 1,2,3,5,6,7-hexaoctyloxy-rufigallol by using the two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance technique. The analysis of the dipolar couplings shows that the three-noneqivalent aliphatic chains in RufH80 exhibit vastly different structural and dynamical characteristics.

Deuterium isotope effect on volume phase transition of polymer gel: temperature dependence
Article Abstract:
Several samples at varying concentrations of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) gel(PNIPAM) and the phase separation of linear PNIPAM solution were examined to find the deuterium isotope effects on the volume phase transition of the gels.
