Bolamphiphile nanotube-templated metallized wires
Article Abstract:
A new method to produce metal-coated nanowires using self-assembled bolaamphiphile nanotubes as templates is introduced. Electroless Ni and Cu coatings on the bolaamphiphile nanotubes in Ni and Cu baths with reducing agents is achieved.

Fabrication of protein tubules: immobilization of proteins on peptide tubules
Article Abstract:
Avidin coated the peptide tubules without denaturing confirmed by fluorescein-tagged D-biotin attachment onto the avidin-coated peptide tubules is presented. The result indicates that the protein tubules may be attached at desired surfaces using biological interactions such as antibody-antigen recognition and protein tubules can be used for fabrication such as microelectronics and protein array biosensors.
