Determination of the interfacial characteristics of a series of Bolaamphiphilic poly(fluorooxetane) surfactants through molecular dynamics simulation
Article Abstract:
Constant surface tension and constant volume molecular dynamics simulations were conducted on a series of bolaamphiphilic [alpha], [piv]-(diammonium disulfato)poly(fluorooxetane)s. The degree of hydration measured for different atoms in poly(fluorooxetane) during simulation confirm that a 'looped' conformation is adopted in which the surfactant backbone and the perfluoroalkyl chains are lifted away from the water surface.

Inclusion complexes of beta-cyclodextrin with ionic liquid surfactants
Article Abstract:
The inclusion behaviors of beta-cyclodextrin (CD) and three ionic liquid surfactants, C(sub 12-)mimPF(sub 6), C(sub 14)mimPF(sub 6), and C(sub 16)mimPF(sub 6) are studied. The results indicated that beta-CD and C(sub 12-)mimPF(sub 6) or C(sub 14)mimPF(sub 6) can form ICs with molecular ratio of 1:1 and 1:2.
