19F NMR study of molecular aggregation of lithium perfluorooctylsulfonate in water at temperatures from 30 to 250 degrees C
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the measurement of 19F nuclear magnetic resonance chemical shifts to determine the aggregation number and critical micelle concentration of lithium perfluorooctylsulfonate in water ranging in temperature from 30 degrees C to 250 degrees C are reported.

Dipolar hydration anomaly in the temperature dependence: carbonyl and nitrile solutes studied by (super 13)C NMR chemical shifts
Article Abstract:
The hydration structure around dipolar solutes is studied. The solute polarity and the temperature are controlled by the competition of the solute-water and water-water hydrogen bonds (HBs).

Heat capacity change of the hydrophobic interaction
Article Abstract:
Various methods for calculating heat capacity change of the hydrophobic interaction are evaluated and presented. It is shown that the heat capacity change for bringing two methane molecules together is negative.
