Effect of bending rigidity and interfacial permeability on the dynamical behavior of water-in-water emulsions
Article Abstract:
The effect of interfacial properties, such as interfacial tension, permeability and bending rigidity on the dynamics of water-in-water emulsions is discussed. After calculating values of interfacial tension, permeability of the interface, bending rigidity and by incorporating all these properties into the kinetic of phase separation, it is concluded that both bending rigidity and permeability are important during phase separation.

Improved computation of sum frequency generation spectrum of the surface of water
Article Abstract:
The infrared-visible sum frequency generation (SFG) spectrum of the surface of water was calculated with significantly improved accuracy via the new time-dependent formalism. The modifications to the method included molecular modeling of the OH stretching region, sampling statistics and a treatment of boundary conditions, which allowed a detailed comparison and analysis.

Diffusion of water in clays on the microscopic scale: Modeling and experiment
Article Abstract:
Diffusion of water in montmorillonite clays was studied by neutron spin-echo (NSE) and time-of-flight (TOF) and by classical microscopic simulation. Microscopic simulations and NSE results show good agreement regarding the dynamics of water in Na- and Cs- monohydrated montmorillonite clay samples.
