Effects of induction interactions on the orientational order of solutes in liquid crystals
Article Abstract:
The effects of induction interactions on the orientational order of the solutes in liquid crystals is determined on the basis of the Thole model of interacting damped atom dipoles. The induction interactions in the solvents could be responsible for bringing a twenty percent increase in the field energy.

Molecular wire electronic state crossing driven by applied voltage
Article Abstract:
The effect of applying an external voltage to a molecular wire connecting two reservoirs of states through the use of a Hubbard Hamiltonian, which explicitly depends on the applied voltage, is analyzed. The energies of the ground and excited states of the wire cross as the voltage increases is shown.

Superexchange, localized, and domain-localized charge states for intramolecular electron transfer in large molecules and in arrays of quantum dots
Article Abstract:
The superexchange, localized and domain-localized charge states for intramolecular electron transfer in large molecules and in arrays of quantum dots is studied. The results indicate that the charge may be localized over a finite, connected, subset of sites in intermediate states.
