Energy-transfer dynamics in the LHCII complex of higher plants: modified Redfield approach
Article Abstract:
The two-color transient absorption kinetics measured at probe wavelengths from 641 to 689 nm with a step of 3 nm upon 650 nm excitation, thus allowing one to visualize the evolution of the whole spectrum reflecting and interplay of the intra and interband transfers in LHCII is modeled. The standard Redfield and modified Redfield approaches in the case of a real antenna system (LHCII complex) using the experimental excitonphonon spectral density taken from fluorescence line-narrowing (FLN) data for this antenna complex is compared.

Coherent nuclear and electronic dynamics in primary charge separation on photosynthetic reaction centers: A Redfield theory approach
Article Abstract:
The density matrix equation along with the Redfield relaxation superoperator is used to obtain the self-consistent and quantitative explanation of the nonlinear spectral response of the photosynthetic reaction centers (RC). It was seen that the nonequilibrated vibrational modes involved in electron-transfer play an important role in photoproduct formation in bacterial RC.

Excitation dynamics in the LHCII complex of higher plants: Modeling based on the 2.27 angstrom crystal structure
Article Abstract:
Steady-state spectra and energy-transfer dynamics in the peripheral plant light-harvesting complex LHCII using a new structural data is presented. The location of the cluster on the outer side of the LHCII trimer probably provides a good connection with the other subunits of PSII.
