Low-temperature adsorption microcalorimetry: Pb on MgO(100)
Article Abstract:
The heats of adsorption of Pb on a MgO(100) film is calorimetrically measured as a function of coverage at 190K by using a removable pyroelectric polyme ribbon as the heat-detecting element. The heat of absorption grows much more slowly with coverage toward the bulk heat of sublimation, consistent with a larger Pb island density at low temperature.

Comment on "simulation of the optical adsorption spectra of gold nanorods as a function of their aspect ratio and the effect of the medium dielectric constant"
Article Abstract:
The optical adsorption spectra of gold nanorods were modeled by the Link and co-workers and they derived a simple relationship equation between the adsorption. It was found that the function of the gold nanorods was wavelength-dependent.
