Fluorescence probing of temperature-dependent dynamics and friction in ionic liquid local environments
Article Abstract:
The solvatochromic fluorescence probe coumarin 153 (C153) is used to study the temperature dependence of the solvation dynamics and fluorescence depolarization dynamics in the ionic liquids. The C153 fluorescence anisotropy has shown very long time scale orientational relaxation time constants dynamics in the order of 100 ns.

Vapor-liquid equilibrium of ethanol by molecular dynamics simulation and Voronoi tessellation
Article Abstract:
Voronoi tessellations (VT) in two-phase molecular dynamics simulations are used for determining the coexisting densities and vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) of a polyatomic fluid, namely ethanol. The pair correlation function has shown significant hydrogen bonding in the liquid and vapor phase.
