Formation and growth of a nanosized rulr bimetallic cluster supported on NaY Zeolite
Article Abstract:
The nanosized Rulr bimetallic clusters in the NaY zeolite show strong resistance for the agglomeration in 1-atm oxygen and at high temperatures, compared to the Ru/NaY. Nanosized Rulr bimatallic clusters containing of 30-60 atoms can be obtained from the thermal decomposition and reduction with hydrogen of the precursor zeolite containing Ru complex and Ir (NH3)5(H2O)3+ free of chloride.

Disproportionation of an element in a zeolite. II. Crystal structure of an iodine sorption complex of dehydrated fully Cd(super 2+) -exchanged zeolite X containing n-I(sub 5)(super -) as I(super -) - I(sub 3)(super +) - I(super -) and square cyclo-I(sub 4)(super 2+)
Article Abstract:
Zeolites readily sorb dihalogens by a variety of mechanisms and zeolite X is a synthetic counterpart of the naturally occurring mineral faujasite. The iodine, like sulfur, disproportionates upon sorption into Cd46-X and this constitutes the electronic disproportionation of an element upon sorption into a zeolite.
