Molecular ordering and 2D conductivity in ultrathin poly(3-hexylthiophene)/gold nanoparticle composite films
Article Abstract:
The first comparison of the structure and electrical conductivity properties of spin cast (SC) and Langmuir-Schaeffer (LS) films of regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) is presented. Results show that, while the inclusion of Au nanoparticles (NPs) caused the lateral conductivity to decrease in SC films, in LS films the lateral conductivity increased by a factor of 2.

Radial flow microring electrode: investigation of fast heterogeneous electron-transfer processes
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to characterize the use of the radial flow microring electrode in determining fast heterogeneous electron-transfer kinetics. The structure and geometry of the electrodes were determined by atomic force microscopy. Experimental results indicated the effectiveness of radial flow microring electrode in determining fast heterogeneous electron-transfer kinetics under steady-state voltammetric environments.
