Lattice strain directed synthesis of anatase TiO2 single-crystal microplatelet arrays on Alpha-MoO3 (010) template
Article Abstract:
An attempt was made to examine the fabrication of self-assembled micrometer-scale oxide platelet arrays by utilizing lattice mismatches between the overlayer and single-crystal substrate and resultant strain-induced reconstruction. The synthetic method is applicable to other oxide systems namely, carefully investigating the interplay between structural resemblance and lattices mismatch.

Control growth of one-dimensional nanostructures of organic materials
Article Abstract:
The organic molecular nanotubes, nanotube junctions, and nanorods are prepared form organic compound powders through the combination of thermal evaporation and the self-assembly technique. A simple method through thermal evaporation of 9,10-anthrapuinone (AQ) powders in the presence of zinc catalyst is developed to produce nanotubes, nanotube junctions and nanorods.
