Low-temperature reduction of NO2 on oxidized Mo(110)
Article Abstract:
The reactions of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) are investigated on oxidized Mo(110) containing both chemisorbed oxygen and a thin film oxide. It is found that NO2 reacts on both oxidized Mo(110) surfaces through a combination of reversible adsorption and reduction to No, N2, and trace amounts of N2O below 200 K.

Structure and properties of the Mo3Nb2O14 oxide
Article Abstract:
Mixed Nb-Mo oxides were prepared by solid-state reaction of Nb(V) and Mo(VI) oxides at 973-1123K followed by the characterization of Mo3Nb2O14. It was shown that Mo3Nb2O14 solid prepared in air at 973-1073 K after cooling to room temperature contains high amounts of Mo(V) species.

Article Abstract:
The chemical nature of oligomers is very important. The role of short range attraction can be attributed to the interactions of electrolyte ions which would enable the growing oligomers to self-organize.
