Metastable states of small-molecule solutions
Article Abstract:
The existence of metastable phase transitions and the equilibrium behavior of solutes such as liquid-liquid phase separation and gel formation in small-molecule solutions are described. The nanoparticle suspensions observed in metastable states of gels and glasses have found application in a wide range of products such as toothpaste, hand cream, paints, and car tires.

Predicting noncovalent interactions between aromatic biomolecules with London-dispersion-corrected DFT
Article Abstract:
The studies of weakly bout heterocycles, nucleobase pairs, and intercalator-nucleobase complexes carried out by employing dispersion-corrected atom-centered potentials (DCACPs) are described. The observation suggest DCACP approach as a most practical way to study [pi]-[pi] interaction, neutral as well as positively charged complexes and H-bonding in complexes.
