Benzene adsorption and dehydrogenation on Pt/ZnO(0001)-O model catalysts
Article Abstract:
The dehydrogenation of benzene on Pt/ZnO(0001)-O model catalysts was studied with temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) and low-energy ion scattering spectroscopy (LEIS). The LEIS signal suggests that approximately one-third of the adsorbed c-C6D6 on the Pt islands also desorbs molecularly at ~300-480 K.

Solubility of ionic liquid (emim) (PF6) in alcohols
Article Abstract:
A simple eutectic system was exhibited by the (IL+methanol) binary mixture. The study reveals that even polar solvents like alcohol do not destruct the net of the IL after dissolution.
