Getting global usage
Article Abstract:
The use of global positioning systems can help crop growers implement a more efficient and profitable site-specific farming program. Combining GPS with the use of a universal field identification system and a geographic information software will allow farmers to create hybrid seed maps for their service area that can help them access hybrid selection. In addition, GPS can be an aid in crop scouting, ground truthing and vereification of crop damage.
