NaOH concentration effect on the oriented attachment growth kinetics of ZnS
Article Abstract:
The role of NaOH concentration on the oriented attachment growth kinetics was studied by investigating the crystal growth kinetics of ZnS nanoparticles coarsened less than 100 degree Celsius with NaOH concentration from 2 to 8 M. The findings suggest that the concentration of solute is very important for enhancing the oriented attachment growth rate and achieve exclusively oriented attachment growth of nanoparticles at a large size scale.

The role of oriented attachment crystal growth in hydrothermal coarsening of nanocrystalline ZnS
Article Abstract:
Hydrothermal crystal growth and microstructure development in water-synthesized nanocrystalline ZnS (H2O-ZnS) and its comparison to growth of organically capped ZnS is investigated. The results show that novel particle morphologies and defect microstructures can be achieved via OA based crystal growth.

Molecular dynamics simulations, thermodynamic analysis, and experimental study of phase stability of zinc sulfide nanoparticles
Article Abstract:
A study of the phase stability of ZnS nanoparticles is done using combined molecular dynamics simulations, thermodynamics analysis, and experimental investigations. The results indicate size dependence of ZnS phase stability and stabilization of sphalerite nanoparticles by water adsorption.
