Adsorption of supercritical gases in porous media: determination of micropore size distribution
Article Abstract:
A study proposes a new technique to analyze adsorption data of supercritical fluids with the aim of deriving useful micropore size determination of the adsorbent. This proposed structure-based model was used to describe the adsorption equilibria in heterogeneous activated carbon. It was validated with the adsorption data of nitrogen and methane on carbonaceous materials under supercritical conditions. Experimental findings and conclusions are discussed.

Post-steam-treatment of Mo/HZSM-5 catalysts: An alternative and effective approach for enhancing their catalytic performance of methane dehydroaromatization
Article Abstract:
Post-steam-treatment is found to be a facile and effective method for improving the catalytic performances of Mo/HZSM-5 catalysts in methane dehydroaromatization under nonoxidative conditions. The treatment is seen to enhance the stability of the catalysts and also give a higher methane conversion and a higher yield of light aromatics, as well a as decrease in the formation rate of carbonaceous deposits.
