Preparation of Polystyrene-encapsulated silver nanorods and nanofibres by combinations of reverse micelles, gas antisolvent, and ultrasound techniques
Article Abstract:
The reverse micelle-gas antisolvent-ultrasound method has been developed to synthesize metal nanorods and nanofibres capped by polymer shells. This method can be applied to a variety of polymer/inorganic composite nanoparticles with different sizes and thickness.

Pressure tuning of reaction equilibrium of esterification of acetic acid with ethanol in compressed CO(sub 2)
Article Abstract:
The esterfication of acetic acid and ethanol in compressed CO2 is investigated at 333.2 K and at pressures up to 16 MPa and the original molar ratio of the components is Co2:Ch3COOH:CH3CH2OH:p-toluenesulfonic acid=90:5:5:0.05.
