Quartic interband exciton couplings in pump- probe spectroscopy of light harvesting complexes
Article Abstract:
Quartic couplings dominate the interband interactions between chromophores whose excitation frequences are well separated. It is shown that the later are responsible for spectral line shifts of the Carotenoids observed in pump- probe experiments of LH2 photosynthetic antenna following excitation of the chrolophylls.

Peptide secondary structure determination by three-pulse coherent vibrational spectroscopes: A simulation study
Article Abstract:
Techniques such as X-ray crystallography and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) provided useful atomic resolution information but NMR only provided direct real time information on a millisecond time scale. Time-resolved X-ray diffraction was carried out with a picosecond resolution.
