Shape, size, and structural control of reverse micelles in diglycerol monomyristate nonionic surfactant system
Article Abstract:
Various studies are conducted to investigate and explain the shape, size, self-organization structures and the structural control of reverse micelles of diglycerol monomyristate (DGM) in several different types of organic solvents. The results prove that the structure of the DGM reverse aggregates is very much controlled by optimizing the fundamental properties of the solvent oils, whereas the length of the hydrocarbon side chain has no effect at all.

Temperature dependence of the surface phase behavior and micelle formation of some nonionic surfactants
Article Abstract:
The studies were done on the surface phase behavior and miscellar properties of two nonionic surfactants ethylene glycol mono n-dodecyl ether (EGDE) and ethylene glycol mono n-tetradecyl ether (EGTE) at different temperatures. The studies reveal that both the amphiphiles show a first-order transition showing conspicuous cusp points in their respective adsorption isotherms.

Vesicle formation from temperature jumps in a nonionic surfactant system
Article Abstract:
Vesicles are formed due to the heating of a dilute sample of the binary system of tetraethyleneglycol dodecly ether and water from the micellar phase into two-phase region of a lamellar phase and excess water. The size of the vesicles is affected in the increase in temperature and a slow-temperature jump gives larger vesicles.
