Side-chain and backbone ordering in homopolymers
Article Abstract:
The multicationical simulations of deka-peptide chains with various side groups in homopolymers were carried out to analyze the relation between backbone and side-chain ordering in proteins. The hydrogen bond formation between the backbone and side chain varies over a wide range of temperatures and influences the ordering of side chains.

Subpicosecond protein backbone changes detected during the green-absorbing proteorhodopsin primary photoreaction
Article Abstract:
Faster subpicosecond protein responses are tested by examining the earliest protein structural changes occurring in proteorhodopsin (PR). One or more peptide backbone groups in PR have responded with a time constant of 500-700 fs and the protein changes are involved in storage of the absorbed photon energy.

Large-scale supramolecular structure in solutions of low molar mass compounds and mixtures of liquids. III: Correlation with molecular properties and interactions
Article Abstract:
A detailed classification of systems with respect to the capability of formation of the large-scale supramolecular organization is presented. The presence and intensity of the supramolecular domain organization is associated with properties and interactions between constituent molecules and ions.
